Annie Johnson Flint was a household name in Christian homes before she went to be with her beloved Savior in 1932. She was a prolific writer whose poems and hymns deeply touched the lives of thousands of God’s people around the world. Her secret is that she wrote from her heart out of a life of suffering, pain, and sorrow. Mr. Johnson, who himself was suffering from an incurable disease, willed the children to the Flint family who would bring them up in the Baptist faith.
